For my first trip, I took 10g of these truffles at first. I finely chopped the truffles and soaked them in a mix of orange and lemon juice for about 10 minutes . Afterward, I drank the mixture, making sure to chew as much as possible to ensure maximal absorption. I started on an empty stomach to enhance the effects. The taste was pretty bad and tasted kind of like walnuts with a very intense grassy scent and flavor. I highly recommend mixing the truffles with juice (even if not lemon tekking) to help mask the taste, as it can be overpowering. At first, I didn't feel much except for some nausea, which I soothed with chamomile tea and ginger. After a while, I decided to redose with the remaining 5g, lemon tekking it for around 20 minutes this time to speed up the onset. About 30 minutes after taking the second dose, the effects began to set in. Initially, I felt a surge of curiosity. I walked around my apartment, looking at different things, and even enjoyed staring out the window. Colors seemed more vibrant, and there was an overall feeling of euphoria. As the effects continued to build, I felt a deep sense of euphoria and warmth spreading throughout my body. The introspective aspect of the trip was strong, and I felt very connected to my thoughts. Music became especially enjoyable and triggered strong emotions, particularly when I used an eye mask and played music specifically chosen for the experience. In terms of visuals, I experienced subtle effects at the peak. There were minor closed-eye visuals and slight open-eye visuals, like my curtains appearing to move and display vibrant colors, even though the room was quite dark. However, there was no significant detachment or dissociation during the experience. I would recommend this dose as a first trip for those who are new to psychedelics. It’s relatively light, enjoyable, and provides an introspective experience, making it beneficial for anyone looking for long-term positive effects. However, personally, I didn’t notice any major changes in mood or lasting positive feelings aside from a slight serenity, which I can’t definitively attribute to the trip itself. If you're looking for a deeper experience, I’d suggest taking the full 15g dose at once and lemon tekking it, as this will likely intensify the trip, shorten the come-up, and make the come-down smoother. For my body weight (80kg), the 10g initially and 5g redose felt nice, but the intensity and visuals didn’t reach the level I was expecting. Chop or grind your truffles as fine as possible as this will improve absorption and digestion which reduces nausea.
